Initial Ideas
Our first idea was to have an abusive mother beating her daughter, the daughter is then cleaning up her wounds while there is a narration of the girl speaking about her life.
We chose not to use this idea as it was very cliche and would be a typical thriller film. We also thought it would be boring and unnecessary therefore we chose to change our idea to something easier to film which was more interesting.
Plot-Group of friends going out together, joking about and having a good time. They are filming their antics, whilst filming, they turn round and they see a figure in which they start shouting and being rude towards the figure. They turn back round and the figure is gone from there. They turn forward and there is a man in front of them with a mask.
We decided not to do this idea for our main task as it would be too complicated and the camera work wouldn't show off as much camera work potential as we would have hoped. We tested this by asking a few people what they would think if they watched this. In addition, we linked this film to Chronicle and asked a few members of our audience what they thought of it. Most people told us that they did not enjoy Chronicle therefore we chose to change out idea again.
We then chose to do another film which we called 'False Identity', this would be about a woman walking home from work through the woods and she feels like she is being chased, she then turns round and drops her bag, she picks up her bag but drops her purse with her identification in it. A woman then picks it up and claims to be her and forges her identity.
We decided not to do this film as when we did the pitch to our class it wasnt the best

Audience appeal-
This will appeal to a wide range audience consisting of 15-50. This is because it is a drama and it is a neutral genre which is usually enjoyed by most people. We found this out by doing a survey in our class and asking our families.
